As North Dakota's largest credit union with over a billion dollars in assets, First Community Credit Union is seeking career-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual with a passion for the numbers side of business to join our dynamic team as a Financial Analyst.
This position will report directly to the CFO.
As a powerful team player, your primary role leads the Credit Union's liquidity and interest rate risk management programs.
The Financial Analyst works as a liaison with external ALM consultant to facilitate effective asset/liability committee (ALCO) decision making.
Assists with routine product pricing decisions.
Conducts competitor & industry research.
Position will drive continuous improvement of the credit union's operations through accurate financial analyses including, but not limited to, branch, business line, and product profitability analyses.
Assists CFO with investment portfolio & wholesale funding management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics, or data science from an accredited college or university is required.
Three years' experience with financial institutions.
Knowledge of basic banking and accounting principles and concepts.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Ability to work all operating hours.
Take pride in professionalism.
Proficient math and computer skills.
Good typing and data entry skills
The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
