Section 1: Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the team in providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients while dealing with complicated or escalated issues; provide timely and accurate processing of specified trust operational activities within the department while meeting daily/weekly/monthly SLAs.
The role also involves a deep understanding of operational workflows as it relates to the individual role and the organization as a whole.
Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Timely and accurately process and audit client distributions including checks, wires, and ACHs for the paying agent block of business
Process paying agent block of business incoming new client requests
Handle time sensitive or escalated client requests including monitoring the checks email inbox for responses to our outstanding check follow up communication
Assist with handling of outgoing overnight packages
Perform reconciliation of daily investment, liquidation, and transfer activity and following up on exceptions in an expedited manner
Use workflow management systems to support transaction processing and referrals from other departments
Follow up on ACH exceptions and returns
Interact with banking partners to initiate transactions and research exceptions
Train external associates on processing requirements for paying agent plans
Follow up with clients/partners/vendors regarding transaction exceptions
Provide management reporting as required
Participate in audit or quality control activities
Achieve SLA's, and work with other departments to increase interdependency awareness
Visualize the big picture and understand details to achieve a desired outcome
Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or equivalent financial services work experience
Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and oral, with wide range of outside contacts in a professional manner
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Self directed with ability to take initiative
Good interpersonal skills
Work closely with others in a team setting
Strong math skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof
Software Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook), LexisNexis, Adobe Acrobat
