What you will do:
As our Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of the complete payroll process as well as assisting with other financial information as needed.
This role offers the flexibility to work from home a few days a week (hybrid model) and can work in Detroit Lakes, MN, or Ashland, OH.
The job:
You will review and process bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately for all domestic subsidiaries, prepare bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll balancing, tax tie outs, journal entries and reporting requirements.
In addition, you will process W2 statements for all domestic subsidiaries and help employees with all payroll-related inquiries.
You will oversee the administration of our invoice and expense software, Concur, as well as accounts payable.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience processing multi state payroll and experience with UKG Pro would be a plus! You must understand accounting principles to accurately perform accounting responsibilities for payroll, compile data for audits of payroll and payroll related benefits, as well as account reconciliation.
A bachelor’s or associate degree in an Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent payroll processing experience is recommended.
