Accountant Position* * *Job Description:* Valley Bus is looking for an accountant to join our team.
Currently, we are a team of five looking to expand to six.
The person we are looking for will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks.
This position will work directly with the controller and must work during peak hours, 7:00-4:00.
This position will have very little to no overtime.
*Qualifications:* · Understand basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) · Must have bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent.
· Proficiency with Outlook, Excel.
· Proficiency in written and verbal communication · Ability to work as a team.
We are accountable towards each other.
*Responsibilities:* · Complete daily bank entries · Complete billing for recurring entities.
· Assist with month end close.
· Assist with payroll.
· Complete regularly scheduled tasks · Other duties that may arise.
