As a Credit Returns Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the efficient processing of credit returns, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate returns against established credit policies and guidelines.
Ensure proper documentation and coding of returned products, reasons for return, and any relevant customer communications.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all credit return transactions.
Prepare reports on credit return trends and provide insights for process improvement.
Work with the sales team and other departments to gather required documentation for out-of-date, damage, or other credit types that may require issue verification.
Work collaboratively with customer service representatives to resolve issues and inquiries related to returns.
Address inquiries and concerns related to credit returns in a timely and professional manner.
Stay updated on company policies related to credit returns.
Work in tandem with accounting to enforce credit and return policies consistently to maintain integrity in financial transactions.
Provide guidance to internal teams on proper procedures for processing returns.
Uphold a customer-centric approach in handling credit returns, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in credit returns processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of credit and return policies; previous experience in credit returns processing or a related field preferred.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Must have basic math skills (+, -, x, ÷).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for credit processing.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to lift/move up to 15 lbs frequently, up to 80 lbs occasionally.
Constant use of arms, hands, and fingers, to reach, lift, grasp, write, and perform desktop duties.
Ability to stand/walk constantly on concrete surface.
Must be able to work in a multi-temperature warehouse.
