Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
Analyze financial data, key performance indicators, and variances to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop actionable strategies for findings.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
Collaborate with various departments to gather data and assumptions for the planning process.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of financial plans.
Provide insight into the organization's financial performance.
Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to present to senior leadership.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
Evaluate and recommend investments and other financial products.
Build and maintain financial models to support various scenarios, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and other strategic initiatives.
Identify and assess financial risks, both internal and external.
Monitor economic and industry trends to identify risk and opportunity.
Develop financial models to forecast the financial impact of new initiatives.
Analyze cost structures and cost drivers within the organization to improve efficiency and profitability.
Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Investigate and explain variances and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and maintain relationships with financial partners and vendors.
Prepare presentations for investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Leverage financial software and tools to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of developing financial plans and models.
Ability to create and interpret financial reports and statements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis software
Knowledge of financial markets and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
