We are looking to hire a payroll specialist at our Fargo location.
Candidates must be very detailed oriented, have good communication skills and be able to effectively manage their workload in a timely manner.
Deadlines and busy work environment should not be overwhelming to the applicant.

Responsibilities
* Process payroll including generating paystubs, paychecks and direct deposits
* Maintain client files and employee information
* Process payroll taxes for federal and state agencies
* Prepare reports and fill out paperwork as required for audits, verification and benefits
* File and pay monthly and quarterly payroll taxes
* File quarterly and annual payroll tax forms, 940, 941 & W2/W3, along with state agency requirements
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or Associate’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education/experience
* Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
* Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
* Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
* Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
* Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
* Experience with ACS, a Thomson Reuters product, is preferred but not required
