The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships.
They will collaborate with the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations.
The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee the company's financial activity, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow and auditing to include both Prairie Supply, Inc.
and FormAll Inc.
companies.
* Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting and processes.
* Prepare annual financial budget and projections.
* Continual review of financial reports and data for ways to reduce costs and improve margins.
* Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Prepare and provide information to auditors, banks, annual review and any tax audits and preparation.
* Responsible for the annual renewal of insurance and risk assessment - property, equipment, liability, etc.
* Coordinate accounting software upgrades and enhancements.
* Oversee the company payroll and benefit plans in conjunction with the HR director.
* Assist the Board of Directors and Management with decisions about financial policy and strategy.
* Review legal agreements between customers and vendors.
* Oversee Information Technology policies and procedures.
* Both direct supervision and co-supervision of a team of eight administrative personnel across multiple locations.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant discipline.
* 5 - 7 years' of finance experience
* CPA or MBA a plus.
* Experience in senior level management.
* Strong financial and accounting background, including understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and general finance and budgeting.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel.
* Proficiency with accounting and depreciation software, word processing and spreadsheets.
* Proven negotiation skills and ability to work well with others.
* Ability to work under pressure, accomplish workloads under expected time constraints.
* Experience with inventory management is a plus.
