Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and customer inquiries.
- Conduct financial report interpretation to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.
g.
, Quicken) and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation accurately.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.
