MAHUBE-OTWA is actively recruiting a Fiscal Manager.
We are seeking a motivated individual with accounting and supervision experience to help us strengthen our communities by managing the day to day operations of our financial/accounting functions ensuring the financial systems are accurate, efficient, and in accordance with accounting policies, practices, and regulations allowing our programs to maximize benefits for our clients and communities.
Exercises independent judgment in applying principles of government and nonprofit accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and budgets; oversight of audits, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable; developing and maintaining accounting systems and related procedures; and supervising and support of program staff.
Develops and maintains productive relationships with internal and external partners including government agencies, funders, and staff.
Assists Controller in the direction, coordination, and implementation of short and long-range fiscal strategies, systems, programs, and policies.
Must recognize and maintain confidentiality of client and agency information and work materials.
Pay: $31.

ORG/APPLY-NOW Requirements: Qualifications include but are not limited to: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field and three years of related experience including supervision, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and/or experience generally accepted accounting principles and auditing as well as financial administration, including budgeting and reporting.
Knowledge of nonprofit and grant accounting principles as well as knowledge of federal and state legislation affecting nonprofits.
Experience in budget development, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, cashflow management, and taxes.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferences.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
