Position summary
As a General Accounting Technician you will evaluate, prepare, and compile monthly financial information for general ledger entry, analyze general ledger transactions, reconcile general ledger and bank statements, assist with audits and payroll.
Qualifications
You are required to have:
AA degree in accounting, finance, or related
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and complete tasks and projects independently
Knowledge of cash handling and account posting
Excellent research skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organizational and communication skills
Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, email, Internet
Additional preferred qualifications:
BS degree in accounting, finance, or related
Experience with JD Edwards or other databases a plus
1+ years of accounting experience is a plus
Location
This position will be located in Perham, MN.
Schedule
Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM.
