Little Tykes Daycare and Learning Center is currently seeking a *full time and a part time TODDLER teacher*.
Candidate must be able to multi-task in a busy classroom and must show knowledge of toddler care in a group setting.
Candidate must be outgoing, reliable, hard-working, and responsible and *love *to work with children! Our team enjoys *paid *holidays (including snow-day closures), *paid *vacation time for full-time, regular reviews for bonuses and compensation.
We are open Monday through Friday, so you can enjoy your *nights and weekends off*!
We will provide you with all training needed to be successful!
Childcare Teacher qualifications:
- Must pass a criminal and child abuse background check and fingerprints
- Must be 18 years of age
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus, but will train.
Childcare background and experience preferred.
- Must be able to physically lift children of all sizes, and sit with children on the floor
Childcare Teacher duties:
- Maintain open communication with co-workers and parents.
- Assist with daily duties with children of all ages (birth through 5 years).
* Enhance children’s social skills
* Teach basic curriculum (colors, sorting, counting, letter/numbers, etc.
)
* Help children reach emotional/social/developmental milestones
* Encourage self-help skills
* Provide a loving and caring relationship with children
* Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
