For over 100 years, YMCA Camp Cormorant has offered spirit, tradition, leadership, and exceptional facilities to campers.
Founded in 1903, Camp Cormorant is one of the oldest overnight camps in the entire nation.
The camp is nestled on 80 acres of wooded property with an extensive beachfront on Big Cormorant Lake.
We are located approximately six miles south of Lake Park, MN, in the heart of Minnesota lakes country.

Camp Ropes Course Staff: Ropes Course Staff supervise campers of all skills and abilities and help them learn proper safety techniques.
Ropes Course Staff organize a variety of activities for campers, such as high and low ropes challenge courses, climbing the wall, and riding the zip line.
Ropes Course Staff are responsible for setting up/taking down and storing gear each time the course is used.

June 3-7 - Training
June 9-14 - Week One (All Staff)
June 16-21 - Week Two (All Staff)
June 23-28 - Kamp KACE (No Cabin Counselors, Junior Counselors, or CITs)
July 1-5 - OFF
July 7-12 - Week Three (All Staff)
July 14-19 - Week Four (All Staff)
July 21-26 - Week Five (All Staff)
July 28-Aug 2 - Week Six (All Staff)
August 2-4 - Family Camp Weekend (Select Staff)
August 4-9 - Week Seven (All Staff)
August 11-16 - Week Eight (All Staff)
Pay & Benefits: This position pays $400/week.
You will be paid a weekly rate of pay and paid bi-weekly.
Free room and board at camp - you will need to live at Camp Cormorant!
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old
6 months experience working with youth
First Aid & CPR Certification for Adult/Child/Infant - If First Aid & CPR Certification is not current, a recertification course will be held during camp training week
Pass the 3-Day Ropes Course Training and Certification at Camp Cormorant
