Part-time Dietary Assistant II to work 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
1.
This position is responsible for performing all Dietary Assistant II duties abiding by Federal/State regulations and guidelines, following Resident Rights, which includes serving evening nourishment as prescribed by the physician, including diets such as ADA, L.
Fat, L.
Salt, Texture Modified, Pureed (Level 1), and Minced & Moist (Level 2); following menus as established by the Licensed Dietitian; consulting with the Cook to ensure the resident receives the proper nutrition.
2.
This position is responsible for setting tables for the evening supper meal and cleaning dining rooms.
This position is also responsible for processing dishes making sure proper water temperatures are attained and documented for the dishwashers; cleaning and sanitizing work areas, counters, refrigerators and and cupboards; for disposing of garbage in the facility dumpsters making sure dusters lids are closed; and for sanitizing garbage containers in the dietary department.
This position is responsible for cleaning and mopping dining areas and the kitchen floors, abiding by Federal and State guidelines for safety and sanitation.
3.
Performs safety and infection control procedures to insure a safe and clean environment.
This includes understanding and following the procedures relating to emergency and evacuation, wandering residents, fire, severe weather, universal precautions and safe operations of any equipment used.
the Dietary Assistant II attends mandated meetings to keep informed.
