USPR is a marketing cooperative owned by four sugar producers: American Crystal Sugar Company, Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative, United States Sugar Corporation and Wyoming Sugar.
*Customer Relationship Specialist*
USPR is looking for a motivated Customer Relationship Specialist to join our team; this position provides an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, self-starting professional.
This position ensures customer satisfaction through accurate and timely response to customer order issues-on time delivery, correct transportation mode to the desired destination within established time frame, and the correct quantity meeting customer specifications.
*The principal duties of this position include:*
* Receives and enters customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Orders are received from customers and sales managers.
* Reviews orders for assigned customers to pro-actively identify research and notify customers of problems encountered in processing or delivering orders.
* Informs appropriate persons of any customer order changes to ensure uninterrupted customer service.
* Receives and validates customer complaints and implements appropriate corrective action.
Notifies appropriate departments, staff or customer as needed and ensures appropriate approvals.
* Develops effective customer relationships to ensure understanding of customer needs and their individual specification requirements.
Customer knowledge is required in order to respond to open issues regarding product quality and service related issues.
* Acts as a partner with assigned sales force to ensure continuous quality service to customers.
Ensures the appropriate approval and follow through with customers and sales force.
To be successful in this position requires business knowledge gained through the completion of a four year degree in a related business field or equivalent work experience.
Previous work experience involving customer interaction is desired and a solid understanding of computer systems is required, SAP experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the proven ability to facilitate customer problem solving a must.
