*Patient Relations Representative (Aesthetic/Medical)*
With consistent growth in the clinic, Fargo Center for Dermatology is looking to add another patient relations representative to the team.
The patient relations representative serves as our front desk staff and acts as a host/hostess, warmly greeting patients and notifying the appropriate staff members of their arrival.
The staff member demonstrates sensitivity to patient’s needs and requirements and demonstrates superior telephone and interpersonal skills.
The candidate must always present professional decorum and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical clinic environment with basic background knowledge in health insurance.
This individual must be energetic, friendly, and self-motivated.
This is a Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm role.
*Education and Experience:*
1.
High school diploma or equivalent
2.
Experience in clinical practice (Preferred)
3.
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)

*responsibilities:*
*1.
Telephone and Greeting*
· Answers telephone calls promptly.
· Triages all calls to appropriate personnel.
· Welcome patients.
· Make appointments on an as-able basis.
*2.
Chart Administration*
· Ensure that patient records are available and charge sheets are attached.
· Registers all patients and checks insurance information.
· Helps with filing as requested by supervisor.
*3.
Other Responsibilities*
· Supports patient check-out and other staff members as needed.
· Complete the check in and registration process by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, insurance, and financial information.
· Manage a complex, multiple provider schedule and optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization.
· Answer multi-line phone system, providing top-notch customer service.
· Obtain revenue by recording and collecting patient charges in medical and aesthetic practice.
· Handle incoming and outgoing patient referrals.
· Protect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
· Posting patient payments/knowledgeable with ledger work
· Knowledgeable in multiple software systems including but not limited to: Electronical Medical Records, various rewards programs, referral program, product point of sale, Excel, Word, and any additional software systems pertinent for day-to-day tasks.
· Perform opening and closing duties of the clinic.
