Transport Driver-Class A CDL Local

Duties include a combination of driving and dock work.
You will transport bakery products to our local warehouses in the tri-state area using a company provided CMV and 53" trailer.
The job then requires unloading if stacked bakery products to a trailer height dock, using a 2-wheel handcart.
The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid CDL Class A license, have an acceptable driving record per company policy and pass a DOT drug screen and physical.
Responsibilities: - Safely operate a Tractor and 53 foot trailer.
- Load and unload bread and bun products using a 2 wheel hand cart.
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Experience operating tractor-trailers.
- Ability to load and unload cargo.
Able to lift 50 pounds - Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
- Ability to follow directions and navigate efficiently to designated locations.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.
