Rural Carrier Associate

Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Rural Carrier Associate to join our team.
As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas.
This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Duties: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver mail and packages to rural areas - Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle - Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures when required - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations - Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles - Ability to navigate using GPS or maps - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Note: This position may require working in various weather conditions and operating a vehicle with a refrigerated trailer.
