SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS/CUSTODIAN - WEST FARGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS
West Fargo Public Schools is seeking quality applicants to join our outstanding team of school bus drivers! Full training will be provided and result in the applicant obtaining their ND CDL for school buses.

POSITION: School Bus Drivers/Custodian - West Fargo Public Schools
TERM: 8 hours/day, approximately 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, following the school calendar
SUMMARY:
BUS DRIVER: Transports students to and from school in a safe and timely manner and follows procedures related to safety and maintenance of the school buses.
Paid training to get CDL B, air brake, school, and passenger endorsement.
CUSTODIAN: Provide custodial services to Transportation building along with minor maintenance tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
BUS DRIVER:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Reliable and dependable attendance
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to perform the essential job functions
Prior experience providing transportation to students preferred, but not required
Prior experience working with children of varying levels of ability preferred, but not required
CUSTODIAN:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height on occasion
Prior custodial experience preferred
SALARY:
BUS DRIVER: Starting pay approximately $17.
75/hour - $18.
85/hour;
CUSTODIAN: Starting pay approximately $16.
25/hour – $17.
35/hour;
Benefits include paid time off, insurance, paid holidays, and retirement contributions.
2023-2024 Classified Support Staff Salary Schedule.
