Summary: The EHS Manager is responsible for managing the administration of all aspects of the company’s environmental health & safety programs, policies, and procedures at all branches.
This position is also responsible for backing up the VP – EHS & Asset Management in his/her absence.
This position works closely with the EHS Coordinators, all management, hourly employees, prime contractors, sub-contractors, and customers to assure that a culture of safety is established and maintained as each employee goes about their daily tasks.
This position requires the aptitude to anticipate problems, critical issues, and opportunities as they arise; along with the capability to creatively problem solve and bring together viable solutions.
Finally, this position serves to provide management direction on how to handle and address safety issues that occur in order to ensure an environment of safety and accountability for all employees.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum of three (3) years of directly related EHS experience or equivalent education.
Excellent Microsoft Excel are required.
Experience with construction ERP systems, including Vista is a plus.
A 4-year degree "safety related” or “technical” degree preferred.
