The purpose of the Missions Local & Global Pastor|Director is to help cultivate a relational disciple-making culture around Salem’s mission and vision by executing the efforts of our church that evangelize, equip, and mobilize our congregation to accomplish the Great Commission.

Salem has a history of supporting local and global missions.
The opportunity for a dedicated Missions Local & Global Pastor|Director is to be a champion for all mission endeavors locally, nationally, and globally supported by the church.
The opportunity is also at hand to equip the congregation to bring the gospel to places where we work, live and play.
The church is cultivating a mission’s mindset in both the Children’s and Student Ministry teams to equip the younger generation to lead their hearts into continued compassion for those who do not know Jesus.
The opportunity is also to create awareness for the congregation of the missions’ efforts through the church.
The Missions Local & Global Pastor|Director serves as leader of SENDING of the congregation with the Gospel into our LOCAL area and serve as Leader of SENDING Salem into our world to REACH the nations with the Gospel.
To accomplish this, the Missions Local & Global Pastor | Director will recruit, equip, encourage, and oversee lay leaders of standing teams or the creation of new teams for the purpose of global SENDING to REACH as many as possible.
\*\*Requirements:\*\*
* A born-again Christian.
* Integrity to uphold the values of the EFCA in agreement with the EFCA doctrinal statement.
* Passion for the lost and a heart for prayer.
* Knowledgeable in software to include Microsoft 365.
* Prefer previous experience in missions locally or globally or in mobilizing a congregation to actively engage in the Great Commission both locally and globally.

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
