This role ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)/Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)/Emergency Preparedness Department(EPD) regulations while preventing injuries to co-workers and achieving safe facilities by working with department managers.
Designs, implements, and maintains programs that support the Company's environmental, safety & health philosophies.
Monitors the facility's environmental, safety, and health system.
Prepares reports on the performance and eff effectiveness of a machine's environmental, safety, and health system.
The qualified candidate will have:
* Degree: Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Health, & Safety or relevant scientifi c/engineering fi eld or EHS experience accepted.
* 5+ years Safety/Environmental Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Safety/Environmental Management experience in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
* Demonstrated knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, regulations (OSHA/EPA/EPD)
* Demonstrated experience in the application of EHS management systems
* Demonstrative leadership experience across multi-site teams
* Demonstrated computer (Excel, PowerPoint), leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills
* 7>10 years experience
* 25%-49% Travel
* Excellent written and verbal communication
