Fair Hills offers opportunities to gain practical and hands-on experience in multiple divisions of multiple industries; mainly Hospitality, Business and Golf.
Applicant Requirements:
Flexibility is required – willingness to jump in and help other departments at the resort as necessary is an expectation.
Interns must be able to work from at least the beginning of June through the middle of August – preference is given to those who have wider availability from May – September.
Weekend, weekday, and holiday availability is required.
Morning & Evening availability – weekly schedules are subject to change
A strong work ethic is required.

Pay starts at $12.
00 per hour
Eligible for up to a $2.
00 per hour additional bonus
On-Site Housing available – $100 per week
Meals are offered to those who live on-site, complimentary at least twice daily

We at Fair Hills have found that a family sharing a good meal together is a prime ingredient for a happier vacation.
The Fair Hills kitchen is well-known for excellent meals for our family vacations and events.
Our kitchen feeds anywhere from 2-250 people daily.
The culinary team does more than just cook, they create the thing that brings our people together to create memories.
This internship is geared toward someone with passion for the food & beverage industry and interested in cooking as well as gaining back-of-house management experience.
During peak family vacation season, the kitchen provides anywhere from 200-250 meals three times a day.
The kitchen is set-up catering/cafeteria style rather than short-order.
Internship tasks include, but are not limited to:
Inventory Management
Scheduling
Ordering
Dietary Restriction & Allergy Management
Meal Prep
Cooking
Cleaning
Menu Work
This intern also works closely with the front-of-house team to make sure all services run smoothly.
These are operational internships; interns work their department’s positions, as well as take on extra management responsibilities.
This means, we work, not just delegate.
As with all positions at Fair Hills, there are opportunities to assist in other departments and cross-train to broaden your understanding and knowledge of the business as a whole.
The internship will provide emphasis on the following skills: organization, multi-tasking, basic & advanced culinary skills and efficiently running /organizing a full kitchen & staff.
