Job Description:
Be a leader that encourages and facilitates growth at an individual and team levels! Lead the departments of General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Urology.
These departments have great provider input and collaboration.
Perform duties including but not limited to ensuring compliance with regulatory readiness, ensuring provider and staff support is appropriate, and engaging the team while leading program growth and development.
In collaboration with senior leadership, leads large multi-specialty group practice(s) or large family practice(s) and business operations.
Focused on operational activities within practice.
The majority of time is spent overseeing area of responsibility, planning, prioritizing and/or directing the work/responsibilities of teams/colleagues.
Goal achievement of the specified area is accomplished through strong management of teams/colleagues to ensure operational results.
Maintains optimum patient care systems through effective fiscal and operational management, which includes ensuring policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by team members.
Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, which may include external customers or vendors.
Responsible for managing teams, making and implementing adjustments and improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of job area.
Responsible for coaching, leading and mentoring emerging talent and developing the talent pipeline.
Oversees compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and development and maintenance of Practice Manuals.
Assures orientation and ongoing education for staff and has input into program and project development.
Work Experience: 5 plus years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting OR completion of administrative fellowship through Essentia Health.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
OR Associates degree in Nursing and ability to obtain bachelors degree within 3 years from date of hire.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
West: RN licensure preferred
