We are seeking the right candidate to meaningfully contribute to and execute on the products/features offered and the vendors supporting Kotapay’s BaaS 2.
0 platform.
This role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, as part of leading new product initiatives and resource management associated with these initiatives.
Translate real-world customer challenges into technical requirements and use cases for developers and engineers to solve for via the platform.
You will also ensure that product features and innovations are communicated effectively to drive adoption and ease of use.
Overnight travel to and from Fargo, ND or Sioux Falls, SD is likely every 6-8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary liaison between business/product teams and development staff involved with building out and supporting platform capabilities.
Interpret business needs and translate those needs into requirements that can be executed on by development staff.
Work closely with information security staff and auditors/consultants to ensure the platform operates in accordance with all security policies, rules and regulations, promulgated internally, by Networks, and bank regulatory agencies.
Work with FIBT/KP project management team, as well as PMs working for our partners, to develop API requirements and solutions, with an eye for always seeking out opportunities to improve integrations and to focus on the developer's experience.
Contribute meaningfully in solutioning sessions with clients and prospects to communicate available functionality and identifying required enhancements based on product requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
Document product and platform release schedules and descriptions.
Participate regularly on calls with partners, prospects, key vendors and executives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, computer science, management, or related field.
or at least five years related experience in payments, banking, or fintech; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with technical project management or API platform management required.
Required Skills:
Strong technical aptitude, and an understanding of API's and platform services.
Experience in working with development teams, ideally running an agile process.
Expert practitioner in client-centered design and demonstrated success in bringing products to market.
Strong understanding of payments-related rules and regulations.
Ability to organize information and manage multiple lists on a daily basis.
Proven ability to remain organized while constantly multi-tasking and reprioritizing daily workload.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as experience using online project management and ticketing applications, such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Zendesk.
