We are expanding our field teams and are seeking mechanically skilled candidates to join our team as Furniture Assembly and Installers! This position includes assembling and installing commercial office furniture such as tables, desks, cabinets, and cubicles in commercial spaces throughout the Fargo, Grand Forks, and Detroit Lakes metro areas.
\*\*Previous experience in our industry is not required – we’re looking for candidates who prefer active work, enjoy working with their hands, and are ready to try something new.
Successful related experience includes: assembly, construction, residential or commercial moving/movers, automotive repair, maintenance technicians, cabinet makers, carpenters, home remodeling, etc.

_*PRIMARY FUNCTION*_
* The Lead Installer is responsible for providing supervision to a group of installation personnel for activities including installation of furniture, repairs, moves, and deliveries.
Position ensures that installation team provides exceptional customer service through high quality work.

_*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*_
* Ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and customer expectations.
* Ensure proper and safe installation and handling techniques are employed during projects.
* Work closely with safety manager on any safety related issues.
* Work closely with the accounting department to turn in receipts for reimbursement and billable charges to jobs.
* Assist in controlling outside overhead expenses incurred during installation.
* Communicate with Installation Manager on a daily basis to get assignments and schedules.
* Communicate daily work plan to team members, including breaks and redirection.
* Effectively communicate project problems or status with project team members.
* Direct team to keep work environments clean, clutter free and safe.
* Oversee daily prep and post installation activities.
* Daily maintenance of tools inventory including drill box and tool kit as well as replenishing consumables.
* Ensure paperwork is completed accurately, reports, time cards, and any customer forms as required.
* Assist warehouse when items are returned to and taken out of the warehouse.
* Responsible for communicating any team member concerns or issues to Installation Manager
* Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Project a positive appearance of the company by conducting themselves as a guest in client buildings and acting appropriately, respect other employees and clients, and promote a safe work environment through active participation in company-sponsored programs.
* Ability to travel outside of the office, may include occasional overnight or out of state travel
* Other duties as assigned.
