Desired applicant will be part of a fun employee and management team responsible for creative product development of retail on-site cocktail, liquor, beer and wine service.
Successful applicant will be responsible in the following areas:
· Set serious professional standards for high quality and creative bar and table service.
· Assist in the development of cost-effective marketing and social media strategies to promote sales and increase customer interest, education, awareness and loyalty.
· Work with chefs and liquor/beer/wine wholesalers to develop and schedule successful tastings and special food pairing and promotional events
· Provide hands-on, real time operational assistance and training to bar and table server staff to promote sales and customer satisfaction.
· Provide real time operational supervision to bar and table server staff to maintain a customer-responsible and professional hospitality service environment.
· Assist in scheduling proper levels of bar and service staff to meet expected business demands.
· With the assistance of the bar and service staff maintain bar cleanliness to meet all required health department sanitary standards.
· Be visible to employees and guests alike and be willing and able to solve issues that may arise with either.
· Perform such tasks as sourcing, purchasing and inventory accounting as required, and provide other administrative support to provide beverage cost controls and maintain proper inventory and waste minimization.
Additional considerations: We are seeking an individual with a sincere desire to attract, entertain and maintain a loyal customer base.
Prior experience with classical/seasonal cocktail preparation and presentation required.
Knowledge in the specialized areas of craft beer, wine, top shelf spirits and liqueurs, whiskies and scotches, etc.

Previous experience in organization and promotion of small, medium, or large-scale events very helpful.
