*TITLE:* Rainbow Bridge Supervisor
*DEPARTMENT:* Rainbow Bridge

*REPORTS TO:* Director of Operations and Community Services
*PURPOSE*
The purpose of the Rainbow Bridge Supervisor position is to provide oversight of Rainbow Bridge operations to assure a safe and neutral environment for Rainbow Bridge families during exchanges and/or visitations.
*MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES* *1.
PROGRAM COORDINATION:* Coordinates, refines, and evaluates the safe exchange / supervised parenting time center services provided to clients.

SAFE EXCHANGE / PARENTING TIME CENTER:* Provides safe exchange / supervised parenting time center to clients.
*3.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS:* Fosters community relationships that strengthen the organization’s ability to serve victims of sexual violence and domestic abuse.
*4.
LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION:* Ensures effective leadership of the program services department through the hiring and retention of qualified staff.
*QUALIFICATIONS* • Bachelor’s degree in social work or other human service-related field • Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, childhood sexual abuse, human trafficking or sexual exploitation • Experience working with children and/or families in crisis • Supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred • Valid Driver’s license *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES* • Demonstrated ability collaborate and to effectively manage people and teams • Experience in planning, goal setting, evaluation, and problem solving • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Self-motivated and organized, able to manage multiple tasks • Customer service oriented • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Excellent public relations skills • Demonstrated understanding of diverse backgrounds and cultures • Experience working with children and families in crisis *DIRECT REPORTS* Rainbow Bridge Lead Facilitator, Rainbow Bridge Facilitators.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* *PROGRAM COORDINATION:* Coordinates, refines, and evaluates the safe exchange / supervised parenting time center services provided to clients.
• Partner with the fiscal department to ensure parent payments • Maintain on-going family contact and information to report and update staff as needed • Prepare and enter ongoing client data to assist with grant applications • Assist with developing and maintaining a volunteer program, including recruitment, scholarship, and updating and maintaining a volunteer database *SAFE EXCHANGE / PARENTING TIME CENTER:* Provides safe exchange / supervised parenting time center to clients • Supervise the intake of new clients • Enroll, maintain, and reconcile client files and schedules for exchanges and supervised visitation while facilitating program operation to assure a safe and neutral environment for Rainbow Bridge families, interns, and staff • Administer evaluations to clients as needed • Provide Educational material to families, which may include new letters, flyers, and books • Maintain accurate documentation of all program activities including scheduling, visitations, family contacts/information, and demographic data • Facilitate program operations to assure a safe environment for Rainbow Bridge families, interns and staff while responding to client requests *COMMUNITY RELATIONS:* Fosters community relationships that strengthen the organization’s ability to serve victims of sexual violence and domestic abuse.
• Collaborate with appropriate agencies and partners to provide culturally sensitive materials for families of different cultures and assist in other projects as assigned • Promote and develop partnerships with internal and external agencies to assure consistent collaborations and referrals within the community and surrounding counties *LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION:* Ensures effective leadership of the program services department through the hiring and retention of qualified staff • Hires qualified staff to meet department needs and standards • Orients and trains interns and staff according to organizational/department processes, ensuring that all team members understand their relationship to the whole • Provides supportive coaching on a regular basis to promote the individual and team success • Identifies opportunities for skill development and job enhancement • Seeks opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation • Provides after-hours support to part time staff • Facilitates regular team meetings *PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS* This work is primarily sedentary, requiring communicating clearly, seeing, hearing, talking, concentrating, reading, and operating office equipment such as a computer, calculator, copier, and scanner.
Work is primarily in a climate-controlled area with office equipment level of noise.
Some travel is required, including occasional out-of-town and out-of-state travel for meetings and trainings, as well as to facilitate transportation of children for the Rainbow Bridge Program.
*EVALUATION* The performance of the Rainbow Bridge supervisor will be evaluated annually by the Director of Operations and Community Services according to pre-determined objectives and policies.
