Job Summary/Basic Function
Under the direction of the camp (“Village”) dean, Business Managers assist the finance and human resources departments by ensuring expense records are kept and hiring documents are completed.
This position is also the first point of contact for parents when contacting the Village about their child.
Applicants for the Business Manager positon must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants 18+ are invited to join us as an Assistant Business Manager.
Working with the Business Manger, this position will take on similar responsibilities as needed.

You Will:
Maintain travel records and documents for villagers, ensure on-site compliance with travel plans
Coordinate with the Human Resources department to ensure I-9 compliance as well as other employment verification responsibilities
Manage purchasing systems and maintain records of all expenses and participant spending accounts
General office duties including maintaining villager attendance lists, photocopying, printing emails
Act as the first point of contact, via phone and email, for parents of in-session villagers
Drive villagers and staff in a Village van or car when necessary, may be around the Village or in to the nearby town
Take direction from the dean as to any supplies that may need to be picked up in town
Oversee Village bank and stores, including tracking of Village currency, villager account funds, candy, snacks, clothing and realia.

Minimum Qualifications
Completed two years of target language study or equivalent; broad knowledge of the culture and activities of the language.
Proficiency in English
At least 21 years of age to be considered for business manager
At least 18 years of age to be considered for assistant business manager
Preferred Qualifications
Six months of office or administrative experience
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
