This position will be located in: Fargo , ND Job Summary Responsible for developing a team responsible for business analysis, user experience and quality assurance to deliver best in class technology to our business partners (customers, vendor partners) and employee-owners.
Leads a team to build new or leverage existing frameworks to identify and document business needs, envision intuitive and delightful experiences and thoroughly quality assures the technology solutions.
Partners with development teams to deliver technical solutions.
Responsibilities Essential Functions Develops formal business analysis, user experience and quality assurance practices to support customer/vendor partner technologies initiatives.
Applies expertise to identify, develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency, mitigate risks and solve problems Leads technology initiatives that deliver value, produce usable solutions, have a high degree of adoptability and are desirable.
Partners with business units, customers, and vendors uncover the “real business need” and what will help separate us from our competition.
Grows formalized user experience practices and processes to ensure our customer/vendor facing applications align to experience standards Implements a formalized quality assurance practice that includes formal test plans, metrics, manual and automated testing competencies.
Owns customer feedback loops that involve various teams to drive continuous improvement.
Owns operational support of systems/technology under management Provides input into prioritization and planning process of overall backlog.
Collaborates, leads, and directs work effort with contractors (both on and offsite) to perform assigned duties.
Collaborates with team members on project needs to understand requirements, development, and estimate solutions in an organized manner.
Provides feedback to management to ensure project workload is appropriate across the team.
Responsible for annual budgeting process and tracking of expenditures for projects utilizing external consultants and software expenditures.
Non-essential Functions Proactively puts forth recommendations to address forecasted risks and changing technology environment related to job duties.
Contributes to the overall delivery of technology to meet business needs.
Stays informed of evolving technology trends, best-in-class processes, and innovations.
Performs other duties as assigned by manager or designate Qualifications Required 4-year STEM degree or equivalent experience Advanced degree preferred 10+ years of experience in business/systems analyst role eliciting requirements 8+ years of experience leading teams building complex, highly integrated systems 5+ years of experience delivering larger scale, external technology initiatives 3+ years of working with User Experience / User Interface Design frameworks and processes 3+ years of experience working in formalized IT quality assurance processes 5+ years of experience building systems supporting business process in supply chain focused industries.
SAP ERP experience preferred.
Experience supporting SAP Commerce Cloud and connected application stacks Experience with design thinking frameworks, as well as both generative and evaluative UX research.
Experience acting as a mentor to other developers and team members in successful software projects Preferred Experience creating basic web-based applications in a modern framework such as Angular or React.
Experience leading Agile teams.
