Accounting Services Team Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Team as a Team Lead.
The Team Lead is mainly responsible for overall service delivery for assigned teams as well as support, coaching, and leadership of the team.
The Team Lead is responsible for SLA adherence, training, and maintaining workload balance.
In addition to job duties and requirements the Lead will be responsible for managing team, overall day to day direction (50% worker, 50% leader).
Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Primarily responsible for leading vendor analysts whose scope may cross different functions Perform back-office transactional tasks with high quality and meet or exceed deadlines Ensure high quality training and resource readiness on work day 1 Act as a trusted leader within the vendor organization while motivating and creating a positive work environment to maintain/increase vendor tenure Review and resolve issues or escalations Build solid, positive working relationships with the Microsoft team – primary partnership with Microsoft Sr.
Finance Managers and Finance Managers Drive consistency in tools, templates, and processes used by all vendor resources Ensure all vendor resources adhere to Microsoft business partner communication guidelines Ensure all vendor resources meet quality metrics and deadlines; implement performance plan or appropriate resource replacement when metrics & deadlines are not met Ensure work is assigned and the workload of the team is allocated efficiently; ensure backups/work redundancy/biz continuity Ensure adherence to Microsoft Accounting Policies (MAP), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX); participate in audits as appropriate Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience.
US Citizen residing in the United States.
2+ years of experience in leadership preferred.
2+ years of experience in financial accounting processes.
Experience leading or participating in process efficiency and improvement projects.
Experience working in a large corporate environment with a dynamic atmosphere.
Ability to operate within and meet or exceed tight deadlines while being flexible with duties and scope of work.
Ability to manage/coordinate/measure/track multiple projects/processes.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Outlook.
Strong Microsoft Excel experience with formulas.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate with top-level leadership and executives.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to various systems and tools.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to think strategically and manage execution.
