What are you waiting for? Join us! Stoneridge Software is looking for a Consultant Lead to provide strategic leadership for supporting clients that are on Microsoft Dynamics GP and add-on products.
They will be a highly motivated, honest, and passionate person with experience consulting for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
They will be responsible for providing guidance on Microsoft Dynamics GP infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), database, environment management and system administration to support the business processes, applications, and integrations for our clients.
The Consultant Lead is responsible for defining & driving continuous improvement for how we partner both with the client team, sales, and as a support team for our existing clients within the Dynamics 365 product line.
This includes ensuring alignment with Client Services standards (delivering The Stoneridge Way), defining across our GP team how we approach solution design to ensure alignment with Microsoft product investments, overall market trends and participating in continuous improvement efforts to define & refine Stoneridge standard practices.
The purpose of this role is to lead our GP Team and Clients through successful support of Dynamics 365 ERP and integration projects (including multiple concurrent projects).
Leading the GP Team Assist Management and the Client Services GP team to review client work and workloads Create a feedback loop from Client Services GP team through Client Services Leaders to Microsoft on product or platform recommendations Provide coaching & mentorship to Client Services GP team specific to Stoneridge Methodology, support processes, cross-product solution design and sustainable solution building Ensure that standards are created and continuously improved as needed to cultivate a Client Centric environment.
This includes standards for a successful client success partnership, setting client expectations, transitions, support delivery, and future partnership opportunities Be a great mentor, provide mentorship and leadership as opportunities arise, chip in where needed to provide the Client Services GP team and our clients with a great experience Ensure the Client Services GP team are appropriately engaged, driving our client work forward, delivering on commitments to our clients, correctly apply concepts (such as build vs.
buy), and Stoneridge Software implementation methodologies Drive referenceable clients and ensure our team is Enjoying Our Work Identify upskilling needs within the GP Team and provide training to the group on emerging technologies, and enhancements in Microsoft Dynamics Business Applications Helping Our Clients Win: Engages in the design and development of technical solutions, estimates, and scope for sales opportunities and work authorizations for existing and “switcher” clients Provides leadership and technical guidance to the GP team throughout the support of our clients for accurate delivery of resolutions Works with our Client Services team to develop a solution proposal that includes scope, assumptions, and technology solution options to meet client goals as well as longer term needs Provides current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional design documents Communicates complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills Maintains knowledge of third-party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare and contrast solutions Accountable for leading and ensuring alignment with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of software products, customs, and integrations to meet those needs within Dynamics GP solutions A Day in the Life as Consultant Lead The Consultant Lead is responsible for overall environment management best practices for the client's Dynamics 365 infrastructure, database configuration, Dynamics environments, system performance and administration, integration connectivity, data warehouse design and more Collaborate with Client Services leadership and ensure alignment with support governance structure Provide strong leadership, partnering with clients to drive organizational adoption of new or changed processes and systems Facilitates discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions to meet those needs Maintains knowledge of third-party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare solutions Provides current best practices and solution alternatives as part of environment and Dynamics infrastructure management Communicates complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills Performs education to client team members to enable long term adoption and ownership Coordination of environment needs to satisfy the needs of the full project team A Day in the Life as Principal Consultant Possess and maintain comprehensive experience and strong knowledge of core software, business processes and best practices, related technologies and enhancements, and industry trends Apply experience and knowledge while working with clients to ascertain solution requirements, potential technical options within Dynamics GP and related technologies, and scope and resource requirements associated with each option Take on Designated Support Consultant roles to CSM management of an Account Design, build and deliver custom solutions and integrations Represent Stoneridge Software through effective communication with clients throughout the solution life cycle Work efficiently with resources from other internal teams or external groups as needed Mentor team members Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business and environmental requirements Proven ability to design integration roadmaps and best practices Working knowledge of Dynamics GP infrastructure sizing, database performance, development language, and integration capabilities Experience with Microsoft’s Life Cycle Services Experience with Data warehouse design and construction Expertise in Dynamics security Experience using Microsoft Azure to build, test, deploy and manage applications and services Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE Ability to communicate well both orally and in written English Ability to work in a team environment Willingness to constantly update oneself on new software and market conditions Ability to write queries to query a SQL database is ideal Certifications in Dynamics NAV development is highly preferred Strong technical aptitude Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularly meet with client teams across the United States and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.
