Butler Machinery is currently hiring a Construction Division Program Manager responsible for supporting Butler Machinery’s 15 locations that distribute and support Caterpillar equipment.
This role will work through our Equipment sales professionals while partnering with our OEMs to ensure customer’s success.
We have a generous pension plan with 10% guaranteed and up to 5% discretionary provided by the company annually once eligibility is met, with no minimum required contributions out of your pocket.

Sales Administrative Duties:
Manages and distributes market share data.
Analyzes market share to assist Division Manager in identifying issues.
Assists in development and maintenance of divisional key performance indicators.
Participates in planning Customer Events and Shows with Stores, Marketing, and OEM partners.
Supports Butler Machinery’s New Product Launches.
Coordinates with marketing department to ensure all sales marketing campaigns are in alignment with Division strategy.
Supports and guides teams in utilization of CRM system and Quote system.
Conducts training and rides with new Sales Associates based on knowledge level
Travels to the store locations on a regular basis to review current sales initiatives.
Administrates new machines merchandising sales programs.
Works directly with OEM partner to resolve issues.
Sales Support Duties:
Assists Stores with government bid proposals and quotes.
Coordinates the monthly updating of retail programs in quoting system.
Assists sales team with questions on retail programs.
Assists division manager with development and deployment of retail programs.
Assists inventory control with machine spec’s and orders.
Supports the management of new inventory turns.
Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of Butler Machinery.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of business experience, training and/or education required.
Good customer relations and communication skills – both written and verbal are essential.
Time management and presentation skills are required
Problem solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of competitive machines is preferred
Construction industry experience is preferred
Sales background preferred
Mechanical knowledge preferred
