Summary The project management intern will be responsible for performing a variety of support tasks within the project management team.
Essential Responsibilities Assist with developing a standard project discovery process that can be shared with the organization leaders Research and make a recommendation on project resource planning tools or best practices Assist in creating more detailed documentation and visual representation of roles and responsibilities within a project Update and organize different project templates into a central repository Create a visual process map of the project process that can be shared with other business units Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP.
Competencies Required Enrollment in an undergraduate course for Project Management or similar field.
Ability to write and verbally communicate concisely and with clarity Ability to collaborate with other departments in a professional manner Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Visio, Project, Education and Experience Enrolled in an undergraduate course for Project Management.
