The Specialist primarily identifies and evaluates new and existing behavioral and functional goals, proactive intervention techniques, and person centered supports through observation, evaluation, and data collection.
Specialist Services are provided directly and indirectly.
Direct services include face-to-face as well as alternative forms of service provision such as telephone contact, video conferencing, email, and remote monitoring.
Indirect services include preparation and finalization of assessments, evaluation of service outcomes, and monitoring specific program implementation, program development and training, and supervision of staff and caregivers.
Other duties include attending multidisciplinary team meetings, servicing clients in the home and/or community, supporting positive relationships with all service providers, completing documentation, and performing services in strict adherence to all 245D licensing requirements and local, state, and federal regulations.
The Specialist performs client intakes, 45-day meetings, semi-annual/annual progress reviews to assess efficacy of service outcomes.
