We’re now hiring a Quality Control Supervisor for our team at Kenny’s Candy & Confections.
A successful candidate will be responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating all QA Technicians on the mid shift for both building one and building two.

You may have just stumbled upon the perfect role! The Opportunity As the Quality Control Supervisor you will work closely with the whole KKC leadership team but largely our Quality Assurance Manager and Weekend Sanitation Supervisor.
You will be responsible for managing, directing and coordinating all QA Technicians on the Mid Shift.
The quality supervisor utilizes knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure daily safety, quality, cost and production goals are met.
The responsibilities of the position are listed below.
Your Responsibilities Direct QA Technicians on the Mid Shift Responsible for employee training for all quality personnel.
Document, reprimand and discipline all incorrect behavior Enforce all safety, sanitation and GMP Policies Develop, implement and improve quality monitoring procedures, specifications and process improvements.
Create, update and train on quality work instructions, Review daily QA records Create and carry out a fair work schedule, Maintain lab equipment and supplies.
Compliment and or praise any performance which warrants such action Hold employees accountable for their performance.
Cross train people for all positions, including your own, Create and improve efficiency of operation Make sure all procedures are followed and properly documented.
Provides visible leadership and guidance to all quality staff in order to foster continuous improvements and best practices.
Help employees grow with the company and implement procedures to challenge employees.
Empowerment – Supervisor is expected and authorized as an individual to think, behave, and take action, and control work and decision-making about their job in autonomous, independent, self-directed ways.
Provides/Establishes controls to assure optimum deployment of resources within approved budget.
Continually improve manpower usage, effectiveness and efficiencies through improved scheduling techniques.
Works with quality leadership team; directly responsible for personnel actions including but not limited to: employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, documentation, hiring and terminations.
Makes sure all employees arrive on time at the start of their shift and comply with all aspects of the relevant attendance policy; reports any absences to the production leadership.
Reviews/Completes daily attendance tracking.
Update communication/performance boards, communicate/participate in Safety inspections, GEMBA walks (observe, engage & improve), BRC reviews and other reviews/audits as assigned.
All other duties as required.
Qualifications Knowledge of quality control processes Excellent communication skills both verbally and written Excellent organizational Skills Self-motivating Teamwork, work closely with and cooperate with others Takes initiative, works independently and acts proactively Strong problem solving and judgment skills Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office 2-year Associate degree or 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control.
