Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) Position Details
Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Provides patient hygiene, comfort measures, mobilization and transportation, and contributes to patient assessment.
Participates in the care of adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
As experience dictates, the nursing assistant may also participate in the care of infants and pediatrics.
What You Offer
Hold certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Minnesota, along with CPR/BLS certification.
Previous experience as a CNA preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to demonstrate appropriate level knowledge and skills of nursing practices and procedures.
Work Schedule
Part-time, 36 hours per biweekly pay period
Blocked schedule, repeats every 6 weeks; 12-hour shifts, 9:00am-9:30pm
Includes every 3rd weekend and holidays that fall within the blocked schedule
