Position Summary
Seeking a CNA for the Detroit Lakes area.
As a nursing assistant to Hospice of the Red River Valley this person would be a vital member of the Interdisciplinary team (IDG).
We are seeking a motivated person with initiative to learn, dependable and a team player.
This nursing assistant would be responsible to provide personal care services to hospice patients as directed by the patient’s plan of care.
These services include personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance needed.
Safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and complete charting in appropriate time to ensure the team receives complete reporting.
Work within the nursing assistant job scope in order to meet the requirements of applicable federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
This position is a part-time (0.
5 FTE) position and benefit eligible.

Qualifications
One year patient care experience in a health care setting; hospice or home health experience preferred
Ability to be flexible and effectively manage priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work with and communicate effectively with terminally ill patients and their families
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required
Certified Nursing Assistants registration from North Dakota and Minnesota State Department of Health (or willing to obtain dual licensure)
Valid drivers license and auto insurance
