*Job Opportunity:* Visto’s Trailer Sales is currently seeking an entry level trailer technician which would be involved in setting up and prepping of open and enclosed trailers along with many other duties.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to the continued success and growth of Visto’s Trailer Sales.
*Reports to:*Service Writer *Primary job responsibilities:* * Assemble new trailers and install factory selected options; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
* Verify specifications, interpret measurements, and assemble trailer components as instructed per the manufacturer.
* Operate forklifts, heavy machinery, and power tools for assembly functions.
* Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly for quality assurance.
* Troubleshoot assembly issues and perform repairs as needed, reporting errors to the supervisor.
* Organization of lot * Pictures of completed trailers * Document actions by completing production and quality forms * Contribute to team effort and assist with company needs *Skills/Qualifications:* * Will train the right individual * Valid Drivers License * Able to operate equipment including towing of a trailer * Mechanical aptitude * Physical ability to stand, bend, squat and lift 50 lbs throughout the day including overhead, unload tires, wheels, and parts by hand and with a forklift * Basic general math skills including add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and calculating percentages * Positive, team-oriented attitude.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment * Clear, effective communicator, verbally and in writing * High level of attention to detail while performing a variety of tasks * Superb service oriented mindset *Work Schedule* * Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm * Hours may vary depending on workloads and seasonality *Work Environment:* * Work is performed outside and does require an individual who can handle the cold and heat at times * Fast-paced, collaborative environment * A small business requires varying tasks from time to time * Opportunities exist for growth and advancement *Compensation* * $19-$22 an hour starting off.
