As a Registered Dental Assistant, you may help with the following: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification - Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures - Familiarity with dental software systems - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the doctor during dental procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
You will be responsible for preparing instruments, taking x-rays, educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining accurate records, and managing patient flow.
