RN or Exercise Physiologist - Part Time Flex - Cardiac Rehab
Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse or Exercise Physiologist to serve in Cardiac Rehabilitation at South University Clinic in Fargo.
This employee works 7 am to 4 pm, 24 hours per week.
This is a flex position, so the schedule may flex upward or downward by 16 hours in any 2-week pay period without notice.
As a flex employee, you are eligible for full time benefits.
No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required.
Registered Nurse ($32.
92 or more with experience): Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations.
Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home.
Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right.
Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.
Exercise Physiologist ($27.
25 or more with experience): Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services.
Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs.
Responsible for supervising graded exercise tests in the non-invasive cardiovascular lab.
Education Qualifications:
Registered Nurse: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Exercise Physiologist: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
RN: Current RN license with the ND State Board of Nursing and MN licensure within 3 months of hire.
Exercise Physiologist: ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or certification eligible and obtained within 6 months of hire.
Both: BCLS certification within 1 month of hire, ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package.
The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
