Job Description:
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
Education Qualifications:
NP: Master's degree in nursing
PA: Bachelor’s degree in a health/science-related field

Our driven, quality-focused, and service-oriented department currently consists of 3 Adult Neurologists, 1 Pediatric Neurology, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, and 3 Neurodiagnostic Technicians.

Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Call rotation is 1:4 during business days and hours with MD support and collaboration.
General Neurology Department with the ability to focus on select patient populations.
Patient Population consists of patients with diagnoses of – Migraine/Headaches, Concussion, Epilepsy, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Disorders, Neuropathy
Procedures completed by this position include Botox Administration, Occipital Blocks, and Trigger Point Injections.
Experienced Neurodiagnostic Services provided by our Neurodiagnostic team with the ability to complete EEGs both inpatient and ambulatory and EMGs.
Volumes:
Inpatient: 2-4 consults per day with daily follow-up and rounding
Outpatient: 10-15 patients per day
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
Position requires a high level of patient-centered skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

Pay Range
$105976 - $127171 / year
The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package.
The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
Effective December 1, 2019: Job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a post-offer assessment, including a urine drug screen, immunization review, proof of required vaccinations, and background check.
