*Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)*
Looking for someone great to join our team! Ideal candidate would be flexible with their schedule working a variety of shifts both weekday and weekends.
We try to accommodate school / work schedules to the best of our abilities.
We currently are hiring for our evening and overnight shifts, part-time hours.
This position would work a combination of weekday and weekend shifts, based off availability.
Hiring to fill the needs of our growing facility.
The specific number of scheduled hours will be established upon hiring.
All persons in this position will be prepared to work occasional weekends, and holidays.
Benefits are offered to full time staff.
This position is great for social work, criminal justice, nursing, and other human service field students wanting to gain experience in their future career.
*Job Qualifications*
BHTs must be at least 18 years old and free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding their hiring.
The candidate must sign a statement attesting to this fact.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Monitor and supervise adult (independent) clients in sober living;
* Recording client behaviors using the level system;
* Act as appropriate role models for clients;
* Be available to clients at all times;
* Verbally communicate with clients in a supportive and positive fashion throughout daily interactions;
* Assist clients in achieving treatment goals;
* Complete daily logs, critical incident reports, fire drills, etc.

* Assist the client in keeping physician, psychological and dental appointments;
* Provide an atmosphere that will stimulate client’s development of self-confidence and self-worth;
* Maintain a clean, safe and well maintained environment in client living and staff areas;
* Keep Supervisor informed of all significant events;
* Communicate client needs, program and household information to other staff via staff communication notes;
* Read and utilize the Policy and Procedure Manual on an ongoing basis;
* Follow all procedures listed in the policy handbook;
* Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings;
* Attend all mandatory trainings;
* Transport clients to appointments
* Provide recreational activities; and
* All other duties as assigned;
* Must have a driver license and clean driving record and be able to pass a background study'
