TITLE: Nursing Assistant Registered/ NAR
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing
Job Summary: The nursing assistant/registered is responsible for assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) through daily nursing care as described in each resident’s plan of care.
He/She carries out simple treatment procedures and follows the instructions of the charge nurse, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
He/She also works closely with the activities department, volunteers, housekeeping, and all other ancillary departments.
He/She has contact with members of resident’s families.
Minnewaska Lutheran Home operates with 3 shifts, so depending upon what shift, and employee is working, the work may involve more of one type of activity then another.
