Works closely with multiple departments by placing orders, ensuring that purchases are recorded at the time of request, and submitting these orders to get approval from the department or purchasing manager.
Provides updates to special education management to aid in budgeting.
Liaison with transportation director and operational center personnel.
Processes requests from special education staff for testing materials and supplies while maintaining supply inventory.
Organize and maintain appropriate filing systems (electronic and paper files) as needed to support office functions.
Review, tabulate and enter data into a variety of systems.
Organize and maintain documentation and training required by paraeducator and other non-certified support staff.

Responsible for the organization and scheduling of multicultural events.
Connects EL Families with community services and resources.
Coordinate workflow for EL Zoom Distance Learning for Other School Districts in ND, including invoicing and payroll.
Collaborate with ALC and Evenstart programs to promote literacy among families.

Standards Based Instruction Purchasing and Contractual Support - Priority: Essential - Percent of Time: 40% Prepares accurate and complete purchase orders for the special education department for supplies and materials.
Works closely with multiple departments by placing orders, ensuring that purchases are recorded at the time of request, and submitting these orders to get approval from the department or purchasing manager.
Provides updates to special education management to aid in budgeting.
Liaison with transportation director and operational center personnel.
Processes requests from special education staff for testing materials and supplies while maintaining supply inventory.
Organize and maintain appropriate filing systems (electronic and paper files) as needed to support office functions.
Review, tabulate and enter data into a variety of systems.
Organize and maintain documentation and training required by paraeducator and other non-certified support staff.
Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and staff.
Must be thorough and detailed-oriented in work.
Performs other projects, tasks and duties required for this position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum Qualifications High School diploma; plus, three to five years in general office work and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to operate office machines and personal computer and related software.
Ability to use basic word processing a must.

Preferred Qualifications Specific knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Google Doc, Sheets, and Slides or ability and desire to learn quickly.
