The Recruitment Coordinator / Patient Recruiter is one of the most important positions at Lillestol Research.

*Position Purpose:*
Identify, recruit and schedule potential study patients through *in-person and phone screening, as well as cross-*screening interested individuals in collaboration with Principal Investigator, sub-investigator, and research coordinators.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of upcoming and ongoing trials.
Coordinate and enhance community outreach programs and serve as an ambassador for Lillestol Research.
Collaborate with COO and DO to develop marketing and patient recruitment strategies.
*Education, Experience, and Skills (Minimal Requirements):*
Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education in healthcare related field and a minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare related field*.
Requires extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medication terminology and awareness, human anatomy and physiology, disease entities and ability to abstract information from clinical sources.
*Must be competent in Microsoft Office products and data entry.

*Duties:*
Recruits participants to research studies and increases pipeline of new patients to the business
Consults with screen failures or individuals who do not sign consent for purpose of cross-screening to all Lillestol Research trials
Identifies a need for target calling of prospective patients and performs task without direction
Performs health screens and walk-in patient visits as needed
Improves retention of existing patients through proper identification and outreach
Identifies and suggests marketing and recruitment strategies in collaboration with COO, DO and marketing coordinator
Collaborates with marketing coordinator to identify and interpret call trends
Communicates recruitment information to staff to enhance site recruitment efforts
Keep detailed call logs of interested individuals and identifies and makes follow-up calls as needed
Accurately tracks marketing calls in study database
Enhances outreach programs in both the patient and medical community
Perform daily reminder calls for screening visits
Conducts research activity within the guidelines of the FDA and by following Good Clinical Practice guidelines as developed by the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH)
Conducts protocol-specific procedures as delegated by PI
