*Position Purpose:* Provide and support the clinical research business in all aspects of finance as applicable.
Review and manage budgets, invoicing and payments for multiple clinical research trials at any given time.
Track and reconcile deposits and expenses, revenue, bank accounts, charge cards, invoices, checks and receipts.
Oversee and submit payroll to third party vendor.
Review and collect data for financial reporting to ownership and as required for tax or other purposes.
Duties include finance and accounting work, as well as some human resources duties.
Project a professional company image through in-person and telephone interaction.
*Education, Experience, and Skills (Minimal Requirements):* Finance and bookkeeping background and/or work experience.
Post-secondary education with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically Word and Excel), data entry and some medical terminology.
Preference given to applicants with experience in finance for a healthcare organization.
*Duties:* * Review and manage budgets, invoicing and payments for multiple clinical research trials * Track and reconcile deposits and expenses (accounts payable) (daily) * Track and project revenue on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis * Write and track deposits of patient stipend checks and/or issue / track patient reimbursements via site issued debit card * Review accounts payable (daily) * Review A/R (daily) * Enter charge card receipts on applicable reporting (daily) * Review and reconcile clinic bank accounts (monthly) * Review and reconcile charge card accounts (monthly) * Enter revenue into Quickbooks (monthly) * Invoice Sponsors or other vendors as needed * Run revenue and other reports as needed for ownership or other required financial reporting * Meet with ownership and tax advisor as needed * Collect information and issue 1099s to study participants on an annual basis (as needed) * Be a contact and liaison for 401K withdrawal percentages and reporting as needed * Be a contact and liaison for health insurance participation amongst staff, including any changes needed, as well as annual testing * Be a contact and liaison for payroll vendor (daily/monthly/as needed).
Track and update payroll vendor with any changes to upcoming payroll.
* Schedules and meets with other staff, finance support individuals and vendors on an ongoing and as needed basis.
* Communicates directly with payment groups and sponsors for payment reconciliation, invoicing, budgets and other aspects as needed.
* Implements, communicates and organizes finance related matters, suggesting improvements and efficiencies.
* Supports other staff in assigned project based work.
* Directly assists Ownership, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*Competencies:* * Overall background and knowledge of finance and bookkeeping principles.

* Able to abide by strict confidentiality standards as it applies to finance and other aspects related to the business.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $20.
