Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting Responsibilities: - Perform preliminary testing and gather patient history - Assist with contact lens fittings and adjustments - Conduct visual field testing and retinal imaging - Educate patients on proper eye care and contact lens hygiene - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information Experience: - Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a related role preferred - Familiarity with electronic health records system is a plus - Strong customer service skills with a background in retail sales is beneficial - Understanding of maintaining a clean and safe environment As an Optometric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting the optometrist in delivering comprehensive eye exams.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
