Dynamic Homes is looking for individuals to join our team who are proud of our legacy and share in our vision to create each customer’s dream home! Summary : The primary role is responsible to select and purchase raw materials and supplies for the Company at favorable costs.
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Reviews blue prints to calculate material quantities and orders materials to be available for production according to lead times and back log.
Responsible for the timely planning, scheduling of receipt and inventory control of the products and services consistent with Company policy and performance standards.
Attends supplier shows to gain knowledge of materials and vendor availability.
Assists with damaged and obsolete materials sale.
Coordinates vendor schedules for annual Sales meeting.
Searches for new product to enhance sales and profits of Company.
Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers and recommends supplier “super buys” to Management.
Communicates upcoming shortages or problems to Production and assists in the resolution of design, quality, and/or delivery problems.
Assists Customer Service with warrantable issues on materials.
Provides brochures and samples of materials to Sales Team.
Provides pricing on special products for order processing and estimating departments.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee moral, productivity, and continued improvement.
Conforms with safety rules and uses all appropriate safety equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of building materials used in housing construction and ability to read blue prints.
