The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients.
The LPN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, hospital employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position.
The LPN will also:
Plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs.
Interview patients and record their medical history.
Obtain patient vital signs and escort patients to the exam room.
Administer injections of medications
Verify that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately.
Observe and record patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments.

Day shifts; Monday-Friday; 8:00AM-5:00PM
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.

Education/Special Skills: This position requires current MN LPN license.

Ability to work independently and as a team player, while maintaining a positive, person-centered attitude.
5.
Must maintain a professional composure and demeanor at all times.
6.
Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.

Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
